How lessons work

Helpful information for new learners (and parents).

Before you start

You’ll need a valid UK provisional licence. Wear suitable shoes and bring glasses/contacts if needed.

Progress plan

We’ll focus on fundamentals first, then junctions, roundabouts, manoeuvres and independent driving.

Theory support

Help with hazard perception tips, mock questions and the “show me / tell me” checks.

Test readiness

Mock tests and honest feedback so you know when you’re ready for the real thing.

Standard lessons are 1.5 hours or 2 hours. Longer sessions can be arranged if you want extra time for routes or mock tests.

We’ll look at your current ability, confidence and any areas you want to improve. After that, you’ll get a clear idea of next steps and an estimate of likely hours needed for test standard.

Yes. Courses can include theory support, hazard perception tips, and the “show me / tell me” checks. (If you book a finishing course, theory should already be passed.)

We cover roughly a 5 mile radius of Horsford, including Hellesdon, Old Catton, Sprowston, Norwich city centre, Felthorpe, Taverham, Hainford, Drayton, Spixworth, Frettenham, Thorpe St Andrew, Costessey, Eaton, Heigham, Bowthorpe, Cringleford and nearby areas. If you’re outside these areas, contact us and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
